Breaking News: Global Powers Clash Over Proposed Military Action Against Iran.

Russia, China, and France have rejected a proposal supported by several Arab nations urging the United nations to approve a resolution authorizing military action against Iran.

The proposal plan reported called for coordinated land and naval operations aimed at reopening the strategically vital strait of hormuz, a key global oil shipping route. 

China and Russia, both nuclear powers with veto authority at united nations security Council, are known to have strong political and strategic ties with Iran. Their opposition significant reduces the chance of the resolution being passed.
